<p>Yes I saw that! I get nervous just from looking at it - anything even mildly related to college admissions reduces me to jitters nowadays… two more weeks (or less, hopefully) of waiting to go!</p>

<p>10:48 for the talk about releasing decisions. This was prior to Sandy though, as you can tell from the video.</p>
<p>So now that we all have our fingers crossed for the 7th, I have begin to think of a new issue. At what time will be get the actual decision? Like will I have to wake up at 4am like SATs? Or is it exactly at noon? Or will I just be obsessively checking the site every 15 minutes all day long? Does anyone know?</p>
<p>If we have to guess all day long, I’ll definitely get my phone taken away at school! Haha</p>

<p>Last year in the email telling the notification date it also said that it would be released after 4pm, so they gave you an idea and it was after school hours.</p>
<p>And it came out 5 days before the actual release date, I’m pretty sure (the email I mean). </p>
<p>So, if it does indeed come out on the 7th, we should expect an email/change in the check-your-status function on the 2nd, which is 3 days away (not including today or the 2nd itself)</p>

<p>Last year it was either 4PM or 5PM EST and decisions were available within seconds of the stated time. My guess is they will be ready by the Dec. 7th date. They did post an update to the page that you sign in to a few days, maybe a week before the decision release date.</p>
<p>Guys, I’m worried…It seems like every college is having record numbers of early applicants this year EXCEPT Dartmouth. I’m worried Dartmouth is going to defer a ton of applicants ED because they know that all these kids applying to other colleges will apply to D during the RD round if rejected/deferred. Any thoughts?</p>
