It could very well go either way. Kids who don’t apply early decision to Dartmouth clearly don’t feel that Dartmouth is their 1st choice.

Although Dartmouth doesn’t track interest, this could be a factor could it not? I’m hoping that the amount of applicants they accept stays the same. I just want to get in so badly, words cannot even express how much want I feel.

I just contacted Dartmouth and a representative told me that if all goes as planned December 6th, 4:00 EST PM would be when decisions are released.

She did make a point to note that date is tentative, and that is if everything goes well. She said that as stated on the Check your Status, the 15th would be the latest date of notification.

Thanks so much for the news, magentaturtle. I honestly feel as though someone has hit ‘pause’ on my life for the next week. Best of luck to all of you guys.

omg, I’m totally freaking out now! I’m probably going to wake up my roommate lol, where I am it’s going to be Dec. 7th 6 a.m. when the results come out!!

I will be at ski team practice. And I could check my phone during it, but I dont think I will because if I dont get in I wont be able to go back to practice. I’m not sure what I’ll do. :l

If it’s actually that time on the 6th I’ll be an hour away from a choral concert where i am performing a solo in front of a couple hundred people… this could be really good or go terribly wrong.

I’m trying to finish as many RD supplements for other colleges as I can, since I don’t want to face all the agony of defer/reject along with the staggering amount of applications I’ll have to write then, but I honestly can’t concentrate at all :(
