@karatekid wow, 23, I think you win haha, good luck with all of them!

Haha I wouldn’t have applied to so many, but after having been rejected at Columbia and deferred at UChicago, I’ve gotten a bit paranoid that I won’t get into any schools haha. So I did what I knew would theoretically maximize my chance of admission: apply to as many highly selective schools as possible.

Haha, makes sense. This was my theory as well. I did, however, receive an early acceptance to Villanova even though I applied RD, which did ease some worries of mine. March/April cannot come soon enough.

Well, the Fedex delivery was signed by one of the Dartmouth people at the admissions office. But I don’t know if it was sent to the Music Department. I don’t think colleges really notify people of how their supplement is turning out.

But I would love to do Music at Darthmouth!

Count me in on the RD’s. I applied to Dartmouth in mid December. In regards to other apps, I finished up my 17th app today, but I’m freaking out and feel like I need to add one or two others. Good luck to all you guys!

@tlgsur - I too got a confirmation of delivery from Fedex!!
I really hope when they start uploading at the Dartmouth Portal, they state Arts Supplement as received!! :)

The Dartmouth site said that they received all my materials and are ready to evaluate them!!! So nervous right now!

^ We all are!! :)

^ True story.

@rishav17

What instrument do you play?

I applied to 17 schools too!

@tlsgur - Ohh, I don’t play any instrument!!
I sent in an arts supplement to the Studio Arts Department for Photography!! :)

Do you guys know how tough the RD will be?
It seems like every year D accepts more ED, leaving less spots for us RD applicants even though there’s more of us… :/

^ Well that’s how it works at most colleges!! I guess, its best to leave worrying about acceptance rates & competition - just be confident about your own app!! :)

@lboss1223-actually, Dartmouth had less applicants for ED this year and still maintained the same percentage of ED applications as in years past

@rishav17
I know I shouldn’t really get into statistics and all that, but I find myself drawn to them haha

@barvoets
Sweet~ that’s a good news. Thanks for that!

Can someone tell me how high people in USA are about soccer or rather football(as we call it)?? :)

And for a change lets discuss something “not specifically” linked to admissions!! Anything about the college/major/etc.!!

I myself love soccer, but the “masses,” if you will, aren’t as into it as the rest of the world which is a shame. You will find your soccer fanatics here though, don’t worry.

^ Haha!! Nice! :)

No matter how impossible it might be, if I am admitted to Dartmouth - I’m going to try and get onto the soccer team!!

Ohh, any other MUNers on this thread??

Oh man I love MUN. I really want to be secretary-general before I graduate!
