Hi everyone. I just checked my portal and it says that they have received additional materials that I submitted. I personally did not send them anything. Anyone know what this could refer to? or have it too?
Hmm, is it possible you uploaded a resume? If not, I’d contact them and see what they have.
Does it mean anything if on my Dartmouth account there is now something in the right corner that says to withdraw my application if I’ve changed my mind (which I definitely haven’t)? Does this mean my decision has been made? Has this shown up for anyone else?
@skiergirl5098 It’s on my account too; I wouldn’t worry about it.
I see that as well (along with several format changes) - don’t worry, I think it just means they’ve officially begun the App-Review Process.
Brown University has released the notification: their ED results will be out on the evening of December 10th. Dartmouth will probably be around that time too.
How many Kenyans am I up against or at least how many from East Africa?..am so nervous
Random thought: Wouldn’t it be cool if they didn’t tell us in advance when decisions will be out? Like we could be in class on an ordinary Tuesday morning and have decisions dropped on us unexpectedly. An element of surprise would make the wait even more thrilling.
Penn is releasing their ED decisions on the 11th so I’d assume we should hear back around that time.
@gearsstudio thrilling!!!..I haven’t had a proper meal this past couple of days due to the tension am in.This is torment at its best :((
The additional materials might be referring to financial aid forms.
Sorry guys, you can’t get in unless you have at least a 2300 SAT. Best of luck!!!
@gearsstudio why are you so hopeful about your app?
@sunimah i can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not but anyway, that statement is completely false. the average composite sat score for the dartmouth class of 2019 was a 2160
He was joking, just poking fun of unnecessary nervousness, I’d guess xD
@Saburo I also have an Additional Materials on my application even though I didn’t send them anything. It’s probably nothing, I never followed up on it when it showed up.
Ok! Thanks! You are probably right! It could’ve been my interview or additional letter of rec or something.
@Saburo do you have a financial aid section on your portal?
Has anyone had to send first quarter grades.
I wasn’t asked to, but I did anyways. My sophomore year wasn’t too hot, so I wanted to show that I’ve improved since then
