@POmani but hey! You’re going to college!!!

@PO - Oh!! Haha!!
I have no clue about how good Grinnel is. I only know it is an LAC. And LACs are not good for engineering(except Mudd) - so I didn’t apply to any LAC.

But still, it’s a major load off!! You’re atleast going to college!! :D

Hey guys! So… I applied to Dartmouth and I probably would not get in but you know… I am just hoping for a miracle lol. I have a confession to make. lesbionist. One of my main reasons to apply for Dartmouth is skiing. I just had to say this somewhere…

@hoping: It’s great to be a realist but NEVER be a pessimist. The waitlist is for the people they hope will perform better under stress. i.e. They are looking out for your perserverance. So give them your best shot! Good luck!

@Leopardism
Funny you used “lesbionist”, a couple of my old class mates used it a lot
Yea the skiing/snowboarding will be awesome at Duke :)

**@PO
Congrats on the acceptance, now for the acceptances at the Ivies Harvard most likely **

@Hopingforbetter
Try stay on, only four more days… I am also kinda worrying about Ivy day, but hey, it truly is a lottery and not many people win lotteries now do they?

@lemming
Did you get an email from Carleton saying that your decision is posted? I don’t want to click on it. Best of luck :)

@sunny Yeah I got waitlisted AGAIN aaaaaaaa… well that’s frustrating
Ah well, it’s not a bad sign :)

Well I hope it’s not a bad sign

Lemming
yes, it’s not a bad sign :)

Rejected at Carleton :/

@sunny awww bless I’m sorry to hear that. Hey, LACs are mean to international students atm. Ignore it and move on. They’re stupid not to take you!!!

@lemming
Thanks
I expected a rejection because of the financial aid I need. So I am not disappointed but I really hope to get into Dartmouth because I didn’t apply to any other college :/

^ Sunny - If it makes you feel any better I got rejected from Grinnell and Colgate lol.

Also, whats new on here? :D

Well Dartmouth is needsblind so financial aid shouldn’t play an important part!!

I love Dartmouth for being needblind :)

@guy
Thanks! sorry to hear that, but it is their loss. :)

@Lemming @Rishav - haha, yeah, at least I’m going somewhere! I tell you what, it does do your confidence some good when you read acceptance letters that tell you hom much of a massive contribution you’re going to make on campus etc :)

@Raith - I’m trying not to think about Harvard! I just want to get into an Ivy! Will there be any more news on other college decisions coming through today?

@POmani that is so true. Now I’ve got an offer from Duke it does make me feel less bad about my continual waitlist status!!!
I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for your Harvard acceptance on Thursday. By the sounds it you really deserve it!!

@blue - Welcome back!! :)

@PO - I felt like Superman for that one moment, when I read that NU thought my achievements and personality to be exceptional and unique and that it is their good fortune that I applied!!
Felt like I’m on the top of the world. Very next moment, CWRU sends me a mail asking whether I want to continue on their waitlist… I feel normal again. :p

@Leopardism - Welcome!! :)

@Sunny - Intn’l FA is a bith. Dartmouth doesn’t have that bich!! :D

@the waitlist people - Really, a waitlist means you are good enough or better than average for that college. Just that some other factors, no way related to your application have come into play!! :)

@sunny yeah apparently Carleton only take 6 intl students with full aid SIX SIX THAT’S NOTHING

@Lemming - thanks for your kind words :)

@rishav - I guess it’s good to be humanised :P

How are you guys passing the time so close to judgement day?
