Well nowadays I’m usually on this online mormon chat thing (I am not a mormon), trying to intellectually corner the guys on areas of Mormon belief. For example, they don’t believe in magnets. But they’re too nice! So I just have a well mannered discussion with them and leave feeling like a good person.

^Haha!! :p

I usually wander out after breakfast. Watch a movie, play football/cricket with friends and basically hang out till 6-7 in the evening. Come back home watch TV and maybe go watch another movie with family
Pretty chill time, my summer holidays just started.

Though I’ll have to get back to books soon for the Indian entrance exams(not so secretly hoping that an Ivy accepts me with decent aid) and I’ll maybe join a gym or go swimming. My fitness level has dropped to a new low! Couldn’t play cricket for more than 2.5 hours!! :/

NOTHING. MY LIFE IS SO EMPTY… I wish this wasn’t true…

This thread is so live! haha, proud of us-internationals!

@robcol so true… international students ftw.
We should all meet up at Dartmouth irrespective of where we end up…

@lemming … How about a more neutral place, like New York or Boston maybe?

Ours looks like the only 24hr active thread…:)

2000’s gonna be achieved easily.

I’ve never come across a post which has had 2000 posts in such a short period of time.

@Sunny
Sorry to hear about the rejection Crossing fingers for Dartmouth…

@anyone with rejection/waitlist status (new)
Good luck guys

@PO
3 more days till you get the Ivy decisions… Harvard would be lucky to get someone of your calibre (or apparent from what we have seen/discussed )

I also felt that superman feeling that Rishav and PO mentioned… though only for one university xP

@PO
Very creative way to spend your last few days
I’ve been doing a little travelling, going to be going back to work tomorrow, going to try start my ppl soon and finally finish my driving license nothing too exciting apart from the ppl looking forward to flying that plane :P

@Rishav
Easily 2000, it would hit 2000 once everyone posts their decisions! xP (At the very least anyway)

I’ve been chilling .
Good to be back guys!

Whatsup everybody?

Sunny - Well I wouldn’t attend anyway. So, its more or less okay :p

@Raith - thanks so much, man I’m trying not to think about Ivies, Harvard in particular. Looking forward to getting a few more LAC decision backs in a few days, i.e. Pomona and Williams. I’ll let you guys know how it goes!

@Raith
Thanks.
Btw, how did you manage to make your driver’s license so fast? I still have to do the theory. Have fun with your flying lessons :D

Arrghh… I’m still 17!
Can’t get my driver’s license till I turn 18 in late August!! :(

Which means that I might head off to college without getting my driver’s license!!

@rishav
Are you not allowed to start earlier? We can start with 17 but are not allowed to drive alone until we turn 18 :D

@PO
Fair enough
Look forward to hearing how the rest goes, I’m sure they’ll be acceptances :P

@Sunny
The town I have been working in is really small 2 days for the learners test and about 2 weeks till the drivers
Also, being in Africa… they kinda go with giving me the tests and the answers xP quite funny actually… but the theory for the learners is really simple anyway so it just helps reduce the amount of time I have to go through the book.
I should have my license by mid April I am hoping… if I pass everything 1st time around.

@Rishav
Don’t worry about it bro… turning 20 this year… so it is about time I got my driver’s.
My sister has finished uni and still doesn’t have her license…

Rishav - Carry a 500 Rupee note and you’ll never need a license!
Or a Minister’s card. :p

To everyone discussing cars, I will definitely be starting college without a car…

EDIT: … or the ability to drive one…

Yep, Wednesday ‘late afternoon’. Whatever that means.
