daughter struggling with U Evansville 3+3 Physcial Therapy program or Taylor University....

Narrowed her giant list down to 2…woo hoo…

Taylor U for Kinesiology and U Evansville Physical Therapy.
she loves Taylor. Loves the atmosphere. The campus is pretty. Town not so much…nothing there except Taylor. Evansville is a vibrant town. Campus ok. Didn’t wow her like Taylor. But we were rushed that day.

Obviously the benefit to Evansville is the merit goes all the way through 6 years and she saves a year because of the accelerated program plus she doesn’t have to go through application process again…

But she might be able to get scholarships for a PT program after she graduates Taylor {I hope}. It does require her going through this process again…

If she changes her major she might regret having chosen Evansville. If she doesn’t change her major, she might regret going to Taylor…oy!

She has received multiple scholarships for both schools making the 4 year portion close enough that she can do either.

Does anyone have thoughts either way?

well nevermind…Taylor is the winner!

I know this is like 4 months old now, but curious on financial aid package from UE. Would you mind sharing roughly what their aid package was? My son also interested in the PT direct admit program. 31 ACT. Wondering what kind of aid he might expect. Would be a 2018 freshman.

Thanks!

@TnTWalter I’m curious too, what kind of Merit UE offered. We are looking into direct admit PT programs now.

My daughter received the presidential scholarship I don’t remember the amount but it’s on their website. it goes through all six years of the direct admit program. Good luck.

just looked it up [couldn’t find online]. It’s $23k per year goes all through 6 years.

It was a really tough decision but she felt led to Taylor.
