<p>Hey everyone! So I've gotten the lovely letter on the portal followed by the amazing folder today, and I've decided that I am officially going to Davidson. Who else on CC is out there and going to Davidson?? I thought it would be cool for us to all connect before we all go to North Carolina! I'm from Chicago and SO excited for next year.</p>
<p>I really hope I will be joining this thread…I will know as soon as I hear from the rest of my schools. On a completely random note, does anyone know if you are allowed to pick your roomate, or is it all based on that Myers Briggs test?</p>
<p>I have no idea! I think it’s based on the test unless you request your roommate.
I think I am 100% sure, but I just got into William and Mary and my dad wants me to reconsider. I’m in at Bates, Colby, Holy Cross, Occidental, Pitzer, Washington and Lee, and William and Mary besides Davidson.</p>

I agree!! My dad wants me to make a presentation about why I want to go to Davidson. I think there’s plenty of facts I can convince him with! Where else are you considering?</p>
<p>Well, of the schools I’ve been accepted to (besides Davidson) I’m considering the University of Florida which is my state school and Northeastern - they gave me a huge scholarship for National Merit. </p>
<p>Im still waiting to hear from HYP. But even if I got into any of those (which is unlikely) I still think Davidson might be the best match for me. It will probably all come down to money in the end though</p>

<p>Aha i saw that video! ur right, it just gets me excited for davidson even more! I also watch the davidson show regularly, so when I visited davidson last and noticed a few of the people from the show I got so excited!! Haha</p>
<p>My niece is a senior at Davidson majoring in biology (pre-med). She has really benefitted by taking advantage of research opportunities and has been encouraged and supported by several professors. She really worried fresh/soph year about making it through some of the science classes but emerged a better student. She is taking a gap year before applying to med school and just accepted a research position at NIH. So congrats to all the Davidson acceptees and your future opportunities!</p>
