Davis more selective than Irvine?

umm seniormom99 is that supposed to help me out in anyway?

Has anyone been accepted to the business administration major for uci yet? I haven't heard anything and i'm kinda worried! How do you think this b.a. major compares to berkeley's or riverside's b.a. major? since business administration is a b.a. instead of a b.s. degree, does that mean that it is not as good as riverside's or berkeley's?

cnguyen90 what are your stats? I really wouldn'tmind going to UCSC because it is by the beach and the capus i heard is amazing. UCI is still my first choice but UCSC has some prestige too right?

The number of applicants is only half the picture. You need to see what the stats of all of those applicants are.

Well that brings up a flicker of hope.
Irvine only got a small increase in applicants.

totally in the same boat as a lot of you.. i'm a business major hopefully at irvine..
stats are

gpa weighted 3.5
ACT - 27 ( =1820 SAT)
AP CHEM - 3
Math level 2 - 620
Chem - 560

sports, eagle scout, club president

Eh, what the heck.

UC GPA: 3.93
SAT/ACT: 1750/26
SAT2: 710/640

Only took 36 semesters of A-G courses though, as opposed to the average of about 40. I'm so afriad that's going to hurt me. It already cost me UCD.

did you get in yet?

Yes sir!
On the 18th.

i got rejected from both SB and Davis but got accepted to Irvine today

davis was more selective this year. I was rejected as well. but i got into irvine on monday. that was a horrible wait. good luck guys!

davis is a cow university booo ;3

Hey Davis is alright in my book. ;)
