Dayton freshman transferring to UMD

<p>I am currently in my second semester at the University of Dayton, OH. I am wondering what my chances are of getting into the University of Maryland (college park) next fall as a sophomore. I applied as a high school student, and was denied admissions by UMD. I am an out of state student, and my GPA last semester was a 3.5. I also am involved in a business fraternity and have a job on campus. I would be transferring over with 38 credit hours HOWEVER my high school grades were only in the high 80's (why I got denied). I also applied early. What are my chances of acceptance this time around? Thank you!</p>
