Deadline Dilemma

So for my application I needed recommendations etc. I've gotten all my applications completed except for one. The one yet to be completed is supposed to be completed by my Guidance Counselor. I however go to a school with the British system, and counselors here have a different meaning. Counselors here = for those with problems with family, mental illness etc. Therefore, I gave my form to the Head 'Counselor' at the Careers Office. This was about a few weeks ago. When I went to collect the form, she stated that she was not qualified to fill it in as she hardly knows me and thus told me to go find another teacher.. She could have at least emailed me a while ago to tell me this, so that I could find another teacher. I'm just going to ask my previous head of year to do it for me, but they claim that it will take 3 weeks.. that is WAAAAY past the deadline.

(^ one of the many reasons why I dislike my school and REALLY want to change)

I know that schools will not review someone's application until all materials are received. And that means that they will only review my application if openings remain.. I really don't know what to do.. It's clearly not my fault right? :S Gosh this makes me depressed.. seems like I won't even get into a school at this rate :(

first, send an email to their admissions office explaining your situation.

second, get your head of grade to write it. If you dont have this, I guess just find a teacher with some kind of "leadership" role that is quite close to you.

Hope this helps. What I did was I just gave my apps to the office, and they arranged everything. You could try asking your school office who to give it to.

Peace

Yep. I've emailed them but still no reply..

This is sooo worrying... :/
