So I submitted all my applications on December 30th, midnight, Indian Standard Time.

Beside Harvard and Columbia though, it's showing "Submitted - January 2nd, 2011" and Complete "January 2nd, 2011" beside the Common App and supplements respectively.

I've contacted the Common App team, and am waiting for a reply. But does this mean I'll be disqualified? Or something to the effect of my already slim chances coming down to zero?

(Note - This is only for Harvard and Columbia. All other colleges have already downloaded my Common App, and the dates are proper)

How is that possible?
Wait for the commonapp reply.

I completed Pton and Columbia on January 1 2200 hrs EST (2hrs bfore the deadline). It shows that I submitted it on Jan1 and it was downloaded on Jan.2

When exactly did you submit Harvard and Columbia. State the exact time.

That’s what I’m asking I think.

What’s the exact difference between Indian Standard time and Eastern Standard Time?

At 10:30 am this morning?

What was the point of waiting until the very last minute?

Editing and re-editing my essays. Plus it was not the last minute. Midnight of December 30th implies more than 48 hours early, which is good enough I guess.

?
