<p>This might be a ridiculous question, but I'm a worrier: </p>

<p>If a school sets a deadline of "by (fill in date here)" do they actually mean before that date? I know that I should get apps submitted far in advance of deadlines anyways, but i'm worried about an app i submitted online on Dec. 15th to a school that labeled that as their scholarship deadline. Will they still review my app?</p>

<p>They mean up until that date. I think its okay to send it on the day in question, but not something preferable.</p>

<p>Yes. I know many people who had deadlines of say Nov. 1 and they submitted online Nov. 1. It's okay.</p>
