i thought it was kenya but im not sure

is the philosophe question about people who wanted societal reforms

What did u guys do for the Maya location thing?/

At first i put : Mexico, Guatamele and Honduras but then I decided to omit that one. But iam thinking its right.

Obviously it was Charles Dickens. :P I learned it in ENglish Class coz he wrote : Hard Times" ;P

For the African leader, i think it was the Ghana leader, not Kenya. :P I think coz i read it sumwhere ;P

Wait, for the population pyramids, i didnt put the poor, undeveloped tthing. I think i put sumthin' like the low death rates and high birth rates for A and the opposite for B. But i think its wrong. Damn, thats an easy question. :p How stupid i am :((

mexico guatemala honduras is right

also mexica=aztec

Why is underdeveloped nation one correct? in the pyramid thing?

because underdeveloped nations have high birth and death rates and its the opposite for developed nations

I don't understand that graph

First graph is long at bottom and short on top
Second graph is short on both ends but long at middle

Yeah. The graph thing is really annoying man. I mean. I mean, i dont think that the one with the poor undeveloped countries and rich developed countries IS the right answer

That's overinferring. think The graph only shows population and age. There is nothing to suggest that it's about developed countries. I think it must be one of these "high-birth rates" ones. (There are two of these choices on the test.)

the graphs correspond to high and low in undev and dev countries.............. next question..

both of those ones about birth rates were inconsistent with the data.
i dont believe that it is overinferring because these trends are real and they are consist with developed and undeveloped nations. im sure if you looked, youd find it somewhere.

there is a lot to infer between the correlation of birth/death rates and countries

in countries where industrialization has occured, more women go to school and get jobs, lowering the birth rate. subsequently, where there is more advanced technology, medicines to aide health therefore prolonging life are made.

in the converse, in africa for example, there are extremely high birth rates. at the same time, there are extremely high death rates due to aids, lack of medicine, etc.

makes perfect sense to me.

this question was probably rated easy too

i'm Latin American and the part of the graph about underdeveloped countries having high birth rates makes sense and I know it's true.

Charles Dickens was the answer.
Guatemala, Hond, Mexico for Maya civilization.
Aztecs- Mexica

Some questions have been discussed already, look for them on previous pages.

sorry but I just don't get the graph. I mean for age 0-5 there is a long bar in the first graph under males. What does that mean then? Can somebody explain it to me?

There are more children in underdeveloped countries because of the status of women and also because children and needed to work the land.

O thanks for the explanation. But does Latin American countries have low deathrate too?

One of the choices is

The left graph is high-birth rate and low deathrate, The right graph is low-birth rate and low death-rate.
