For some reason (maybe i was a little excited, lol idk…) alot of my pencil marks bled through the paper and were visible on the other side as light smudges, my proctor let me erase them when we started turning things in but idk, how tough is it to get stray marks to screw up your test?

also does anyone else have trouble erasing wrong marks? alot of the ones I erase are still fairly visible… defenitely less so then the other mark, but still…

The math was pretty difficult this time…WHICH WAS THE EXPERIMENTAL ONE (one of 20 question sections was easy and the other was hard[I answered 11 on the hard one…pssh a little more than half])? But then again if you thought the math part was difficult with this sat test you should have taken the one in June…the math part was HARDDDDDDDDDDDDD! omgosh

How many wrongs can you get on the writing multiple choice and still get a 700? Cause I thought the essay was just an easy cake “cut-in-half” this time and the multiple choices we’re a bit above average of the difficulty even though I think I did well. (Hence, hoping that the January SAT will be more generous).

So, im trying to figure out which section was the experimental.
Did anyone have a critical reading section that included two passages on manga and anime?

Yes I’m pretty sure the answer was 27. I got four CR sections, which sucks because I don’t like CR, but I am almost positive that the third one was the experimental because it was the hardest of the four. Of the CR sections, I remember whales, anime/manga, technology, limited fame, and nature. The math was fairly straightforward for me but I guess not for a lot of people. The writing was extremely easy and I hope they go easy on the essay.

I actually thought some of the writing was kinda weird… a lot of them when you first read them seem like “no errors” and you have to reread. cr/math pretty easy

oh no! this means that the anime manga wasnt the experimental section :[ im screwed.
i dont remember having a woman purpose of a diary passage.

also, i found the orca passage quite hard. i didnt comprehend what those 5/6 sentences were saying at all!

does anyone remember any other math questions we can discuss?
this was the first question in one of the math sections i believe:
2x/y = 2/3 i THINK
can anyone correct/confirm?

I think i did have two errors in a row; but then i didnt know if #19 was “means to” or “means of”. For math free response section, i remember one of the questions had a triangle and three points, and it asked what t was. the answer to that was 6. there was another triangle question that had three points(section with 16 questions and this was the last question), and the area was 20.

for critical reading vocab, there was ubiquitous, uneven, compounded/upheaval(i dont remember second word), sophist

yeah which math do you guys think was experimental, i am sort of hoping it was the one where the first question was 2/3=x/y and then it had a problem with male employees and k.

There was one math question that just seemed ridiculous to me. It was where some of the digits were covered and they asked which of the answer choices could be perfect squares.

the perfect square question answer was 729.
& the math section youre talking about wasnt TOO bad.i got 2 wrong though, i know that for sure.
the answer to the 2/3 = x/y…was it 1/9 or 2?
and for the employees question, it was easy if you picked numbers & plugged them in :]

here, same with Arkacy.
I got my experimental on Section 2, which was about an art critic who came to enjoy more on personal lives rather than artwork… something like that… I think this section was harder, especailly on sentence completion, than non-experimental one

I thought math was easy (but it’s my best subject), writing was easy, reading was easy except for the section with the passage about Dade. I took so long on the vocab that I didn’t even have enough time to finish the section because I thought the Dade passage was confusing too. I’m so worried! I really hope the section with the Dade passage was the experimental. I thought the Manga / Anime one was a little weird to throw into an SAT, but it was fine. How do you spot the experimental section? I don’t remember which one I had too many sections on.

I thought the entire thing was a piece of cake(first time taking SAT). There were maybe 7 questions in total of critical reading/grammar that I wasn’t 100% positive about, and I omitted 2 math problems. The writing was too ridiculously easy.

I think the scores will be posted online on the 22nd(Dec).
