I think because nobody else remembers those questions… i believe it was section 2 but i’m not sure. i know that it was early on in the test though.

^Section 2 was experimental.

Do you guys remember number 27, the “mayor” one with the committee? I put themselves as wrong

^Yep, I’m pretty sure you’re right. They used the pronoun “its” so themselves should have been “itself.”

@butter
I think I put that too.

I could be way off on this but

Contrary to popular perception, science fiction blah blah as a means of exploring futurism.

Since the underlined portion was “as a means of exploring” shouldn’t we change that phrase to just “to explore” instead?

did anyone have like 2 no errors in a row? one with the wingspan earlier, then 2 no errors together

I think as is okay here.

The preposition as can introduce the function of something. Yeah, the wingspan was no error, and then there were two no errors in a row.

^ yay! I put “attempts to” as well.

@blue
I debated that for like 5 minutes. I eventually concluded it was ok. I think it’s fine cause I went online and found “as a means of [noun]”

Powerbomb: I got that exact scores and received a 730.

14, 19 and 20 of the real writing section were NE.

It’s funny because I was coninced while taking the test the second section was experimental since it had a few oddball grammar rules tested like how “insure” was wrong.

was there an experimental math section #2. I had two math sections in a row.

Some people had a Math experimenal, some CR, and others had Writing. I was personally glad that I had the Writing experimental, although I wish the Japanese passage doesn’t count!

what were the numbers 14, 19 and 20 about??

Thx

Are you guys sure it isn’t “attempts of becoming actors”

QUESTION:
Does anyone remember the “Thousands of gallons of oil spilled or leaked to the waterway, once home to both seals and whales(?), with something(?) in the mainland”

Also, I still don’t get why the wingspan question was “made” not “make”…?

I got 790 on Writing section on the Oct test–with 2 MC and 11E-- but today’s was much harder for some reason.

14 was the wingspan of the bird, 18 was “as a means of exploring” (i think?), and 19 was the American one.

Darius// That’s what I put too, although that was my second choice.

I put “attempts to become actors” first, then decided to change it…

Katie// I believe it was the last part, D?, right before the mainland.
