It could also be that the majority of people who post on CC actually care a lot about school and academics, and therefore often have a score in the higher percentile. Most people who post on the threads have good scores and want to show them off. I will take this time to input my scores as well :P

Composite:33

English:33
Math:33
Reading:33
Science:31

Gotta love the rounding. Had gotten 31 twice, and now the 33 banger :)

In reply to an earlier question, you could get one wrong on the math section and still get a 36 because my 3 subscores for the section were 18, 18, and 17 meaning I got that one wrong and still got the 36 for the section.

English: 35
Math: 27 (and I thought I did worse)
Reading: 30
Science: 27
Writing: 8

It was my first time. I had done prep for everything but math (except for looking over concepts and doing some practice problems...no practice tests though) and that was a mistake. Then for the rest of the test I was really disheartened because I knew I did poorly on math. The geometry killed me. And I couldn't remember trig lol.
I will be re-taking in Feb.

Engligh: 33
Math: 36
Reading: 30 (if only i could've gotten higher in reading lol. i didn't finish the passages so it was my fault :P)
Science: 36

um im pretty happy with my score. i bet my mom i could do better than a 33 i got back in september and i won the bet! =D

Composite: 32 (my last time! i sent this to colleges yesterday :) )

English: 33
Math: 33
Reading: 30 (it's normally the same as if not higher than my english score, but i ran out of time, which was weird!!)
Science: 31 (wooo!!)

I'll be taking it in February. If I had gotten a 29 on the Science I'd have hit my 33 goal :( But noooo I had to get a 20 S and settle with a 30...

The ACT has p***ed me off so much...so much! Nothing I do to prepare ever matters! Never will I take it again. I should have ignored what my counselor told me and taken the SAT anyway instead of those subject tests.
