December SAT: Math

for the question with the box and .3... I know there have been a lot of posts about it, but was it asking for the hundredths place number (I got 2, like everyone else pretty much) or was it asking or what p was equal to, because I remember reading it over and it asking what p was equal to (8 was what I said, and it was one of the answer choices)

Anyone has a definite answer for the one asking for the greatest sum possible of 70 positive integers if 2 is the median?

I got 16 for that...^ was that a answer choice?

Isn't there another question with "between sth and sth" KeaneFan or am i mistaking?

@andrea: I got 13.5 ..

Anyone else think the 2 20 minute sections were brutal? If there's anything that's gonna screw up my score, it's the 20 minute math.

andreaaa... 12 and 8 are answers.. thats what i got too!

@crisoliva:

yeah, I think that there were two.

13.5 for what

@keane fan :

for the 4 number add 27 problem

"for the 4 number add 27 problem"
I'm pretty sure it's 12 and it's a grid-in prob

how would you get 13.5 when the terms are -1,0,1, and 2?

its definitely not 13.5.

i got 13.5 also

what was the bacteria growth rate answer? it asked for how many times more had the petri dish multiplied, i got 30

miles - answer = 48
2 feet fits into 16 8 times and 2 feet fits into 12 6 times... therefore - 6 times 8 = 48, the answer

13.5 was what question?

13.5 doesnt make any sense

-1 0 1 2 is 2

2 x 6 is 12, thats 24 numbers, 25 26 and 27 are -1 0 and 1 which add up to 0

yeah i thought those were way hard.

i have another question: for the f(x) g(x) one, what was the answer. it was an mc. i think i picked f(x) - 2.

"what was the bacteria growth rate answer? it asked for how many times more had the petri dish multiplied, i got 30"

Could you repeat the problem. Is x=0 when the experiment starts?

bacteria growth is 30, i remember some gridin as 48, but I forget the question what was it?

"i have another question: for the f(x) g(x) one, what was the answer. it was an mc. i think i picked f(x) - 2"

It's f(x)+2 because g(2) moves up 2 unit
