December SAT: Math

Wait, can someone confirm not having this square/triangle x and x/4 math question? I dont remember it...

What about the f(x) g(x) one, I put g(x) = f(x) - 2, but I was going pretty fast so I'm not sure if they wanted f(x) = g(x) + 2, or if I'm confusing f(x) and g(x), anyone remember?

bpfarmer
I believe it was in terms of f(x), so it was f(x) -2 = g(x)

oh echelon32 you're the man, that would make my life if i got an 800 in math

1:4 was choice A right?

goddamn after reading these forums i think I did well but thats the same thing that happened after my SAT II and I did awfully

lol yeah cause it's the ones that you don't discuss that you get wrong.

Is the f(g(x)) exp? I bombed that one, I wasn't timing myself because the clock in the room was broken and realized I had 7 problems to go in 5 minutes.

jcll2002, you are good in German, I must concede

jcll2002, sind Sie auf Deutsch, ich müssen zugestehen gut

Nein tats

Oh,... I am dissapointed. You are vituperative :)

Yeah, it was f(x) -2 = g(x). Since it wanted it in terms of f(x). Woot, so only one wrong for me that I know of(the 1:4 one).

wow.. funny how this thread kinda turning into SAT International Test.. since we have different languages being spoken...Lol!

hey guys i have a question. i had a math experimental and im wondering if those who didnt have a math experimental had this question where it asked u which graph represents the time/distance two brothers left their house to go to school like one of left earlier and was walking faster or something. that one kinda confused me....i really hope it was experimental.

yeah that was exp.

in regards to the f(x)-2 question.. thats what i got. someone earlier said f(x) + 2 which worried me, but it seems that people are getting slight variations on their tests.

Yep, that was experimental.

oh, the f(x)-2 answer was definitely f(x)-2. You would do +2 if you read the question wrong.

I don't know which part in my paper is experimental, but absolutely not Math

yeah.. at first i did +2.. but im definitely remember i put (-2)... im sure thats correct!

Are you guys saying yeah the f(g(x)) is exp or the brothers walking is exp.
