(a^6 x a^6)^k = (a^3)^(k+5)

a is a constant greater than 1.
What is the value of k?

Did anyone get this one?

(a^6 x a^6)^k = (a^3)^(k+5)

a is a constant greater than 1.
What is the value of k?

Did anyone get this one?

the answer was 5/3

i second that notion

u know what was the cutest question on the math section? question 1 that said if a pet shop sold cats, dogs, and fish and Mr. Brown bought a pet, what can be concluded that Mr. Brown did not buy?

Oh sweet, I guessed that one too :). How did you get 5/3?

What about the question with the range of the temperatures in degrees Celcius? 10?

The area of the parallelogram? 40, 68, 150 degrees.

The circumference of the larger circle? 2 rad 7?

i just distributed the powers so it would be
a^12K = a^(3k+15) and solve

Ohhhh... I got there and I didn't know how to go from there.

range of temp 10
area is 1360
circumference? do you mean the dotted line question --> 18

How did you get the area of the parallelogram? I got lucky and just assumed you could multiply the sides and divide it by 2.

I mean the question where there was a white circle within a shaded circle. The radius of the smaller circle was 6, the circumference of the larger one was like 28pi?

For the dotted line I got 10.

some questions i remember

Cylinder has radius of 4 (i think)

height of H

Another one has a R of 4, but H is h + 2

how big of a difference is the area (or something like it)

I think i got 32

and any one get 18,000,000 as an answer for one question

^Do we have the different SATs? I don't remember these questions.

read the second to last post (my post), and i explained how i got 18

i don't remember what I put for that question with the white circle within shaded circle. tell me the other answer choices, because all I remembering doing was adding 36 to 28, and got 64 and lol, i don't remember from there

^ yes that was 32 pi.

for the f(-2) question, was the answer -1 or 1? i got -1.

hopeful ceo has different sat's than we, because i had the experimental CR section about how a woman kills boredom by writing in her journal entries

"question 1 that said if a pet shop sold cats, dogs, and fish and Mr. Brown bought a pet, what can be concluded that Mr. Brown did not buy?"

omg o_O LMAO

was the f(-2) the one with the graph? i put y=-1 for a question that made you do piecewise functions

Mr. Brown did not buy a white mouse.

I actually had an experimental writing section...

I got the same for that one. Interval of -1 < x < 4.

question: if 21 students take spanish, and 25 students take french. 3 students take both. How many students can take neither?
(SOOOOO unsure about that one, but i drew a venn diagram) (18)(3)(22)

I got 5 for that one.

^ i put 2 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (-1) for me,
ok i added 18 + 3 + 22 so i got 43.

(i was never good at these questions so i think i figured it out) 18 cannot be only added to 22 without taking into account those 3 students, what you did was 45 - 40 was 5.
