Is it obvious which section will be omitted? I was wondering because one of the math sections seemed abnormally hard compared to the cough five cough SATs and dozens of practice tests I have taken.

I had math experimental and I have no idea what you guys are talking about… except for the crate one which I thought was the experimental section

Hey guys, did anyone have the question asking about range and temperature? It was a graph with the highest temp 7F and lowest -5F. I dont remember the question or else Id do it myself.

I got 12 for that one!

are you sure?! Thats what I guessed. What was the question?

Not to be the party pooper, but I don’t think we’re supposed to be discussing it.

OK Math question 19 on section something:
15+2x=5k(x+1)
For what value of k (a constant) is x undefined?

i got 3.
15+2x=15(x+1)
15+2x=15x+15
2x=15x

WRONGGG

It just asked for the range so I did max-min although it kind of seemed too easy for a question towards the end…

wangger: it’s 12 since it goes from -5 to 7.
was the real improving paragraphs question (not experimental) in the writing section on ebooks?
For the sentence correction part in the beginning, is it “recommended having” or “recommended to have” and is it “suggested having” or “suggested to have”

@fuzzywuzzy2014

Do you remember what letter/what number the answer was to that question?
Can’t remember what I put.

I think it was answer choice e) 12 but I’m not completely sure…

Good good, I think I got -0 omitted 1. Hopefully thats 790. What do you guys think the curve will be like? easier than nov? I heard nov was harsh.

I vaguely remember it being E as well. I think the curve will be pretty harsh because it seemed relatively easier than the collegeboard practice tests I’ve done

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1423290-december-1st-sat-discussion-16.html

I don’t remember having almost ANY of these questions… is that bad?

So how does the college board curve the tests, anyway? Does it scale it against percentiles, or just decide beforehand?

I sure hope I passed 2300…

There were two versions for some reason. You must have had the other one.

Was there a math free-response where the answer was “7/16?” I remember gridding that.

Was this section experimental(Dummy)?
It was a section where they gave you variables m,c,s I think
it was related with clothes and clothing store.
also it had like a house shaped graph and you had to get point E’s coordinate

Anyone? Or, do you remember the question where the answer was 7/25? I remember being sure I had the right answer.
