Deciding between AP classes for next year..

I'm deciding between AP classes for next year and was curious to how
AP Microeconomics and AP US Government were in terms of difficulty. I'm already choosing AP Environmental over AP Bio because of the ease of Eviro, so it seems.

Tentative classes:
AP Lit
AP US Gov/AP Microeconomics?
AP Environmental
AP Human Geography
Pre-Calc
Spanish V
[Some elective here]

The “ease” of APES is one of those urban legends that won’t go away. It’s still science, it still requires lab work, and it still requires learning stuff. To someone well-versed in math, physics or chemistry is easier. Everything is relevant.

Nooooo don’t take Environmental Science instead of AP Bio. BigIs right about the fact it’s an urban myth that it’s easy and that’s precisely the reason you SHOULDN’T take it because AP Bio looks better on a college application than APES- AP Bio looks harder. Take AP Bio and if you really want, you can self study Enviro

If you would like a true sense of it.

AP Biology is a class of enormous breadth. You’re looking at everything that is alive PLUS it’s environment [pretty similar to APES if you get in depth]

Take into consideration what you are interested in. I’ve heard you can self study APES, personally, I think a person could hypothetically self-study bio if they REALLY REALLY wanted to do so.

Here’s my two cents on AP Government.

If you love or even just like politics and you watch an hour of news a day.
Your set to have an easy class.

Ok so I’m going to be frank. Yeah, it may sound all wonderful and great to have 6 or more ap classes on your transcript, but believe me it’s not worth it. I took 6 out of 7 ap classes this year, and it has been absolute he**, it’s so not worth it. I’m not stupid, I actually like to think of myself as reletively smart, but such a workload is impossible to maintain. Yea, i might have kept good grades but I had to sacrifice soooo much more because of that and that isn’t what it should be about. I’m guessing you’re going to be a senior next year, so I shall give you some wonderful advice, take the classes you know you really enjoy as AP and then the rest take the upper level equivelant, I promise you you’ll be so much happier that you did, and you’ll actually be able to enjoy the classes you want to enjoy. I know you want to push yourself as far and hard as you can, but you can do that without doing large amounts of ap classes, I’m only telling you this because I wish someone had told me. I’m not saying you have to follow my advice, but I highly suggest you at least consider it. You’ll get just as far in life if you take 3 instead of 6 ap classes, and you’ll be a much less stressed person. I wish you good luck in your decision making, and I’m sure you’ll figure it out.
