I live in Kansas City and I’m planning on moving to Georgia for college since thats always been my dream. The problem Im having is that I was not accepted to the school I had hoped to go too. I have been looking at Reinhardt university or going to community college for a year, Im having struggles because I don’t like either of those options but I want to start in a specific area so those are the only options I have at this point. HELP!
Are you a senior? If so, many deadlines have passed. I am not aware of any rolling decision schools in Georgia, but you could look for those, or go to the community college route.
Yes I am a senior but I did apply to both and got accepted. Im worried that I will not get the college experience if I start at a community college thats why I applied to reinhardt
What do you mean by the “college experience”? Community colleges can be great for certain situations. What makes you so hesitant?
In your other thread you said you were worried about choosing reinhardt because you didn’t really like the school. I don’t see how going to a school YOU don’t like will give you a good “college experience”
Community college isn’t as bad as it sounds. I personally am attending a CC for one year because of my financial situation. I was upset about it at first, but i’m looking at it as an opportunity to grow my academic resume and get some good internships. Why are you so against it? Many people believe that they are “too good” for CC, but it’s a very good option.
Have you spoken with your parents or your guidance counselor about this? CC may be your best option.
What about finances? Would you be able to go out of state? If you want to go to a 4-year university, every may a list is published of schools that did not fill their freshman class. You could choose to go to one of those.
