Yeah but don’t worry, because other than my one semester of college, my high school grades were pretty bad, probably around a 2.7.

Got my acceptance today, but not in the major I wanted. I will still consider attending. I am going to visit next week.

Hey does anyone know if we get the envelope first or the email? bcus online it keeps saying that my application is ‘under review’

You’ll get the envelope first and then your online status will change a few days later…
Don’t use the online application status system, its not accurate

i feel very alone… i havent heard back yet!

You’re hardly alone, forreal100…I’ve been checking on behalf of my son, who submitted his app on Jan 5…and still nothing.

I’m a UMass grad myself and we live about a mile from the campus. Another day or so and I may just drive over to the Admissions office and say, “hey guys, what’s UP?!”

Then again, this is UMass. It’s a very big machine, and the gears are never completely in sync.

It’s really too bad, because all of his other schools responded at least a month ago, so they’re really keeping him in limbo…

-dF

yeah, im in the same boat my application was processed on Jan 4th, everyone else i know has heard…ive heard from every other college, but UMASS and its my top choice so the anticipation is killing me.

Thanks for the support dF

i know people who applied later than me had gotten their big fat envelope almost a month before i got mine and i know people who literally applied the night before deadline day and still received theire decision at the beginning of march.

anyways best luck to you and everyone whos still waiting the letter!

I know i sent mine in on Dec. 15 and still haven’t heard back
Im kinda worried at this point.
My dad went there along with my uncle and both enjoyed it. so i hope to get in.
I have heard back from many of my other colleges but not Umass
many kids in my grade have heard back. but me and just a few kids havent
when i went to the office they said i should get a responds by monday well i have ugg.

I hope everyone has good luck

My son hasn’t heard yet so he is in the same boat as well. I noticed on the UMass website that there is a FAQ about the wait list process. Not sure if that was there before. Perhaps those who haven’t heard yet will be wait listed?
