Decision letters in the mail by the end of this week?

I'm still betting on a letter either by the end of this week or Monday of next week.

^You have no basis for that.

I got my acceptance letter on the 29th of March last year, and most were around that time.

They aren't going to come significantly earlier than that; maybe a few days for in-state folks. OOS will be around that time.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!
ok now i'm nervous. i had no idea they were going to come out so soon

inchoative... do you go to W&M? If so, what do you like about the school?

I received my acceptance last week because I was a Monroe Scholar, but most of the RD acceptance letters come in late March.

The letters came for in-state students on 3-19 in 2005 and 3-18 in 2006. I don't think its a stretch to think they may come on the 3-17 this year (which is the third Saturday of March, the same time as in 2005 and 2006). I called the office of admission and was told that they do not take spring break off; they are in the office all this week so we still may see letters as soon as Saturday.

dramageek, did they say whether or not they would be mailing letters this friday?

I'm so nervous. And I heard that they were mailing letters out this friday from this forum but I don't know if it is true. me biting my nails

They don't release that information in advance so we're just trying to guess lol...I'm just anxious haha

Well, I think they already made their decisions since William and Mary is a small school compared to others. Hopefully they will release them early like they did in Early Decision.

What are your stats blueazulim06?

my fingers are staying crossed until i get the letter!

I would assume that W&M has proportional admissions officers to other schools. I would think it would be money spent poorly if W&M had the same number of admissions officers as UVA, for example. That said the decisions do consistently come out before April 1.

:( So nervous...I dunno what keeps going through my mind, sometimes i think i'm crazy to think i'll get in (OOS, competitive, blahh) then other times i think about how great it'll be once im accepted!

THis is so frustrating!

Yea, I think everyone is nervous about hearing their decisions.

Sounds like we have a bit more waiting to do... my college councelor talked to the admissions office today and they are still making their final deliberations. At least for out of state applicants, they won't be sending out decisions until the end of March.

Alas, the angish continues.

Oh, I really wanted to hear about them next week. Oh well, I guess I can wait until the end of the month. It's worth the wait if I get in.
And did the admissions say that they were just finishing making their OOS decisions?

:( dang, still more waiting...

Every one of my top choice schools come out at "the end of march"

Does anyone know of a place where they break down the stats of those admitted OOS and in-state? I was just curious how much of a jump there is in stats between in and out of staters.

Yea I really think that tehy should provide those for ALL those schools that are difficult to get into out out of state. I probably wouldn't have applied knowing the out of state stats and feel really silly that I did apply now that i realize how competitive it actaully is.
