well, I have heard that they're a bit stingy with aid. 5000 added to your efc, but some other kids have said that they were surprised and satisfied with their aid, so you never know..

Those numbers are staggering! 25k. Wow.

@ ZFanatic: I noticed that too! 4 Natives, perhaps we'll meet each other! Which tribe or band are you affiliated with? I see you're from Texas.

But yeah, now looking back I think they must not have had a huge increase in Native applicants (while HUGE increases in AAs and Hispanics). I guess I was just irritated to see ANOTHER note that completely ignored Native Americans regarding URMs. :).

When and how do applicants get notified of acceptance? Do they send emails? On what day?

^^ There's no reason to be irritated. NU gave facts concerning increases in specific URMs. It's possible that there was no substantial increase in Native American applicants; if NU added the % of Native American applicants then it would be inconsistent with the "large increases in Hispanics/AfricanAmericans" point they were trying to get across.

Exactly ImReachingForIt.....I guess that's what I was trying to say in my last post.....but, on the other side of things, does that increase my and Texas's chances significantly?

As many other people have already said in this thread, should be sometime next week (the rumor is the 25th), and yes, it will be through email.

that was my exact experience during the ED results. Nobody knew for sure when they would come out. So in the morning at like 6 am i was eating breakfast before a debate tournament. It was a saturday and i decided to randomly check and BAM! HEART ATTACK!!! there it was

Given previous posts by the ED's it could be tomm (sat)

That would be amazing (and heart attack inducing as well), but didn't the president explicitly say that the decisions would be released next week?

@dpattzlover - The answer to that question is way out of my hands. We can only hope and pray for the best.

wickedwolfie: Yes you are right, just hoping the Pesident calcualted weeks by work week not otherwise, just wishful thinking. Probably will be midweek. Hoping!!!

I hope my BAM! moment comes next week by Wednesday. But now that I think about it, I'm going to stay away from checking my email while eating messy cereals like Rice Krispies. What if, in the process of having my heart attack, I upset the bowl? It would suck to have a heart attack AND milk/breakfast items on my pjs.

@the.pfenix: I agree. I mean having a heart attack is one thing...but cereal on my pijamas?! I can't even bear to think about that...

Sunday deal... or school-week deal?

My Guess is its going to be Tuesday or Friday, those days seem to be the most popular.

I'm kinda worried though (waitlisted WashUstl too,) because I didnt get an interview with a NU alum. Did everyone else get one?

I got an email about an "interview day" in my area, but I was honestly so busy and so burnt out on interviews I just never got around to it.

Hopefully it doesn't bite me in the arse but oh well.

Well I also got waitlisted from WashU but I was lucky enough to get a NU Alum Interview. I was so excited that I got it. I hope it increased my chances of getting into NU.

Got the email about alum interview in our area too!

haha thanks for quoting me cowgirl91 :)
