<p>GOOD NEWS!!</p>

<p>My college counselor told me that she usually finds out the decisions a day or two before they are released to us. She has a call with UNC tomorrow, so I think this Friday might be it!</p>

<p>I’ve heard there are various rumors going around about when we’ll post our first-deadline decisions online. Depending on the rumor, we’re set to post yesterday, today, or tomorrow, or maybe this Friday, January 9, at 4 or 5 or 6 pm.</p>

<p>These rumors are completely understandable, but they’re all off base. While it’s true that we’ve been able to finish our work a week or two early in each of the last four years, this year we’re only running right on schedule. We plan to let everyone know on or around Thursday, January 15, as we originally promised.</p>

<p>Please know that we don’t take lightly the anxiety that our candidates are feeling. I promise we won’t take a minute more than we need.</p>

<p>hey carolinaheel u seem bout as nervous as me haha but yeh if i had to take a guess tho im thinking that we wil find out probably a litter earlier than the fifteenth maybe next mon because based on the past yrs they have usually relased it early, i know for NCSTATE i found out around 10 PM 4 days earlier than it was said to be released so who knows guess we just wait and see!</p>

i still think that we may get them friday</p>

<p>I don't know, the new blog post sincerely destroyed my hopes for anything earlier than the 15th (if that...I'm actually beginning to fear that it won't be until the 16th, because it's a Friday...)</p>

<p>I really hope they just sent that out as a worst case scenario, and that there is still hope. I'm running out of things to look up to distract myself!</p>
