Since the decisions were sent via ups, does someone have to sign for it or will it come with the regular mail?

sportgreet03,

The letters were mailed USPS not UPS…it’ll be in your mailbox next week.

I live roughly 100 miles from Vandy and received my package today! (Priority mail) Hopefully those in TN will get theirs too. Pheww…I can finally enjoy my wknd.

My student rec’d pkg today - came in a priority mail flat rate envelope. Live close to Nashville.

Is it flat rate envelope regardless of admit/deny?

No it is I believe it is first class for waitlist and deny.* Priority Mail is 2-3 day service in most locations, but usually closer to 2. You probably will recieve the fat envelope on Monday, if you’re supposed to get one, especially given the extra day (Sunday) they have to mail it.

*Caution: I could be wrong about this.

Congrats @truffleshuffle and @Mom54! If you don’t mind sharing, what are your stats? I am sitting at a 1440 SAT composite and 1.5% from top of class, and I am still freaking out that I won’t get in after my first waitlist scare. Thanks!

Nothing in Ohio - waiting for Monday

I would list my ECs, but I’m too lazy. Anything else you want to know just send me a msg! And good luck to you!

Thank you! haha I understand about the ECs. Whenever someone asks me to post my ECs, I’m like “ehhhh, maybe nottt”.

ehhhhh not too excited about this. vandy is my reach school so im not really expecting great news.

St. Louis and nothing! Damn!

Driving down and back from Florida for spring break I was on campus twice! hopefully I didn’t just get my hopes up

This comes in the fat package: [Open Dores 2010 | Vanderbilt University](http://admissions.vanderbilt.edu/open-dores-10.html)

Pretty much the same as last year’s with some minor changes.

I have a 3.68W, 31 ACT, tough schedule, very good ECs. Do I have a chance? Im Filipino from Hawaii, so that part might help since Vandy doesn’t get much from hawaii. But still… i wouldnt call it a hook

this weekend is taking forever!

I got mine. :)

I am so happy that I got an implied acceptance from my MOSAIC packet back in February…otherwise, I would be freaking out! Being waitlisted at WashU (basically the equivalent of rejection since they waitlist so many people!) and rejected at Stanford has really taken a blow to my confidence. Vandy was my top pick, anyways!

Do you think my letter will reach me in San Diego on Monday?

I doubt it. I live in North Carolina, and I’m still waiting on mine. Nashville isn’t too far from here. Ahhh can’t wait much longer.

Is there a real size difference between the admitted and rejected envelopes?
