per a reliable CalTech source! Fingers crossed.

any idea what time tomorrow is?

…wait, really?

…good god. So it is down to this, at last…

Good luck, everyone!

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!? i’m not mentally prepared for this at all

That’s how it happened for my son for EA as well. He had no idea it was coming until he got the email - I’ve seen people saying they knew the day before, but I can’t find any sign of that on this site - perhaps it was rumored or posted on their website and he didn’t check it that day. But it actually helped alleviate a lot of the stress - no clue it was coming, clicked the link and got the decision. Waiting until the next weekend to hear from MIT and counting down the days, hours, minutes was much more stressful!

EA decisions were released at 12 PST so I assume the same for RD.

Wait, really?? Oh my god, I was not expecting this to happen at all.

****, this is finally happening.

Good luck everyone!

Has anybody gotten an email?

Rejected(((((((

didn’t get an email yet

one of my friends was just accepted :D

No email yet…

Waitlisted! I’m actually kind of surprised.

accepted =)

Got in! Congrats to everyone else who was accepted.

waitlisted…

they say they will give spots off the wait list after may 1, but you are supposed to commit to colleges by then?

if I understand this correctly, that means that I am forced to say no to all other colleges just to be considered for Caltech. does this mean I must risk not going to college next year to still have a shot? if so, then that’s pretty lame and I’d rather just have a straight rejection, since that’s basically what the wait list is. who in their right mind would decline offers from all other colleges just to have a slim shot at getting picked out of a hat?

words cannot describe the way I feel right now.

So… apparently Gmail thought it was spam… email was timestamped at 1:00 p.m…

IN!!! :)

^^ You can accept another college’s offer. It just means that you won’t get any housing deposits, etc. refunded if you end up going to Caltech.

Accepted! Gmail thought mine was spam too haha.
