I didn't say that there weren't many internationals who have received their decisions. What I said was that not ALL of those who have heard are internationals. :) At U of T, the top students(including Canadians) usually hear late Feb./early March.

I live in France (but I'm from Vancouver).

congrats all you newly accepted folks. i'm an international 1st year student and i heard in mid february last year. i know some canadians who didn't hear till may and still got in, so don't despair. for those of you in commerce, congrats i am too. just a word of advice though, the program is tough as hell and very very competitive (they cut like 50% of first years, going into second year). but if you work hard and get at least 50 in calc, 67 in management/accounting, 67 in econ then you're guaranteed admission into second year. and you might be used to getting A's in high school but seriously uni is alot harder so don't underestimate those grades! just a word of advice... sorry for hijacking the thread! congrats again!

Congratz to all who were accepted. I was also admitted to St. Mikes for Social Sciences. I tried to switch to UC upon hearing about it from my English teacher, but the registrar stated that it was not possible at the time. However, I do think St. Mikes will be great after all because so many intellectual people got in from what I can infer. I adapt easily to my environment so I will try to minimize any cons said about SMC. The rest; please try to enjoy your days because after all we are in the st. george campus, which sounds like a beauty in the downtown Toronto. The only thing that scares me a bit is the grades. What are we going to do with the GPA, any suggestions? :)

I am looking forward to meeting you all! See you there ppl.

i haven't received a decision yet...is this because i haven't sent in my midyear report/grades? is this needed for an admission to be given?

Yes, your midyear report/1st sem. senior grades are needed for a decision.

Not necessarily,I didn’t send it to any of my schools.Btw I got in St. George and I will stduy physics.

Accepted to Trinity College for Social Sciences!!!

Hey, me too! Are you considering going?

Trinity sounds really cool, but I’m worried that though it may provide a bit of a smaller community it won’t compensate for the overall traits of U of T that worry me: huge classes, 50,000 undergrads, little teacher-student interaction…

Doesn’t U of T require three subject tests?

I think so, but I believe that includes both APs and SAT IIs.

Accepted to trinity :D

Accepted (with a condition) to UofT SC for Management, but I have to get a decent IB score, which I can do, easily but not sure if I can get a 5 in Math HL (which is my only weak subject).

anyone heard any news for UT international studies yet?

Can some of you Americans tell me why the sudden interest in U of T? just a couple of years ago this board was pretty inactive. has it’s reputation been growing in the U.S or it is primarily a money issue, though the exchange is nothing compared to what it was in the late 90’s. Can someone explain?
