has anyone else heard yet?
if you got accepted please post your stats.
Btw, i'm an international student, and i am most likely gonna be attending U of T this fall. U of T, HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

international here too.. haven't heard from U of T yet, and not yet sure if that's where i'm headed for. balance_noles, where are you from?

international
just got accepted!!

congratulations ;)
which college did u get into? and what program?

they assigned me New College, hehe.

i was wondering if it's HARD to get into U of T, like compared to really good US unis/colleges.

got accepted to st. mike's..

trinity...

is there anyone else out there who has been accepted to st. mike's?

ac_rower, my D will be in Victoria College. It was her very definite first choice. She knows a few kids in Victoria, Trinity, and New but she had no interest in St. Mike's because of the religious overtones and affiliation.

got accepted to st.mikes studying CS
but i am going to umich.

Got accepted to U of T New College and U of Michigan, and decided to go to U of T.

going to u of t come fall! international.

missbean, so how much do you think the bill will add up to for the first year for you? I live in Asia, btw. I read your other mail too, thanks for the info. :)

no problem there. =) well, i suspect minus individual expenses it might come up to cdn$21000, although i am hoping that i might be able to save some money due to relatives living elsewhere in the city.

i live in asia too, fyi. hope you'll make it to u of t!

I got accepted for computer engineering! I applied as an international.

now its between UWaterloo and UofT.. can anyone compare the pros n cons of them both n post/ PM me pleeeease?

where are all the other internationals from? i am from singapore.

i emailed them and it looks like everything altogether including personal expenses will come to about $27,000 CDN at least. i know it's much cheaper than all those prestigious american colleges, but i'm not sure whether i'll be able to afford that since they don't offer fin. aid to first year students.

balance_noles, did you check the admissions and awards website? maybe you can find something there.. i think first years can actually take on-campus jobs, only that it's not really a good idea acc to u of t as they claim first year work is normally overwhelming. if you have advanced credits maybe this could work for you?

Maybe this will help. Even if you don't work during your first year, you could probably stay and work during the 4 month summer break and find somewhere cheap to live. Then maybe work part time during your sophomore year. Just a thought.

i will probably be having quite a number of advanced credits....but how much will the jobs pay? Is it sufficient to at least cover $6000?

gotta contact u of t for that..
