u are a true jerk.

april 1st or march 31st at like 6 or 7 pm

dean j, when do decision letters arrive? 5pm?

Lol !^^ 10 char

do we need to be able to access the student service page to get the decisions, or will they be emailed to us? the password from the february e-mail isn't working so I guess i should sort that out soon

I guess you haven't been monitoring your application status all along? ;) Decisions are no emailed, they are posted to student self-service.

Follow the directions in that email very carefully. There is no password, just the information needed to set up a password. Enter your information exactly as you entered it on the Common App or the system won't generate a password for you.

Accepted

March 18, 2009

Dear ___________,

Honored and Impressed. This is how we felt while evaluating your application for admission. We write first of all to congratulate you on your acceptance to the University of Virginia. We also wish to inform you that based on your strong application and superior academic record we would like to offer you the invitation to join the Echols Scholars academic honors program. In a week or so you will receive a more detailed letter and materials outlining how to enroll at UVA, but we wanted to invite you to join the Echols Scholars Program as soon as possible. Starting its forty-ninth year this fall, the Echols Program may be the most rewarding undergraduate educational experience in the United States.

was this email sent to your home email or posted to student self service?

That email is from the Echols Scholars Program.

Congrats jeffery!! very impressive!

Congratulations Jeffery! :)

Thank you :-) The letter was sent to my personal email.

Have all Echols Scholars been emailed? I.e. Can we assume that if no email has been received from the Echols Scholars program, that is not going to be offered?
