Should I go in undeclared for Electrical Engineering?
I know that UCLA makes their Electrical Engineer major take two subject tests, Math II and a Physical Science. So if I go in undeclared could I avoid the Physical Science subject test?

Wb UCSB, UCSB, and UC Berkley?

Thank You,
CCCHelpMe <--no, seriously!

Any knowledge or advise is greatly appreciated!

I’m begging you… Please

It’ll be very hard to transfer into EE unless you go in undeclared engineering.

For Berkeley, if you apply for EECS or Engineering Undeclared, you face a harder entrance barrier, but are in the major (or can declare the major with no issue) if you are admitted. If you apply for L&S Undeclared, then you will later have to apply to the EECS major, which has a high entrance barrier. However, if your main interest is CS rather than EE, you can declare the CS major in L&S without any particularly high entrance barrier.

You may want to see if you can get a significantly higher score on the ACT than the SAT, since your SAT scores appear to be on the low side of Berkeley admits (even L&S). Berkeley Engineering does recommend subject tests in math level 2 and a science.

For the others, you need to check whether each school has different selectivity by division or major.

Being NA will not help at UCs. Consider applying to ome private colleges where it will as long as you’re registered with a tribe.

Nd I agree that you have to declare or you’ll never get the major.

Thank you.
My teacher who used to be on the board for UC admissions was telling me that i should do undeclared hands down and i told her i wanted to major in electrical engineering and she said “yeah so what”

So after two years of doing prerequisites I couldn’t get into the Engineering Major no matter what or is it just very very hard?

If I declared I feel like I wouldn’t get into any of those (UCB,UCLA,UCSB,UCSD)
Where would I have the best chance of getting in?

All of thos schools will be reaches for any major.

UCSB is not a reach. I think UCI is harder than UCSB.

The CR score makes them all a reach.
