Decline offer of admission?

I assume that we're supposed to decline our admissions offer if we do not plan on attending Emory, and I'm currently looking on the OPUS site, but can't seem to find where to actually decline the offer. Any help would be appreciated.

Bump! I have the same question.

I hope someone can answer your question soon! Good luck to you guys at your school choices, I am still anxiously in limbo on the Waitlist!

Many schools make it easy - they include a postcard in your admissions packet or make it obvious online. If a school doesn’t, just email the admissions office a nice letter telling them you won’t be attending and move on.

Odd, I still have not received my acceptance packet. Has anyone else? Also, alexcus, hopefully if enough of us decline, you’ll get in! Good luck!

You guys should call Emory via this number 800.727.603 and let them know. That’s the fastest way! No need to wait for acceptance packet.

In my experience, it takes so long to get a reply from Emory’s admission office. Just call & notify them.

It’s good form to decline all the schools you will not attending. There is someone who would love to have your space.

I think an email would be better than a call since that will create a record.

I seem to recall there was a postcard in the dmissions packet that DS returned when he declined the acceptance. It asked wher ehe was going . I think he left it blank. Not 100% sure we want to be their data collectors.

thanks goalstop! My fingers are crossed! good luck to you too
