Deferred, but never got interview

<p>I never got an interview Yale EA, but I was deferred.
I really want an interview. I would think that Yale will ask me for one now, but I'm not sure. Should I get in contact with my admissions rep about this? I would hope at least that this shows initiative, but I'm afraid it will make me seem needy.</p>

<p>btw, I live on Long Island, ivy feeder - it's not in the middle of nowhere. I was honestly surprised I didn't get an interview in a first place. I don't think I would be imposing since there are many alumni in the area apparently</p>

<p>Talk to your regional rep. Mine emailed me saying she would be sure to get me an RD interview because I hadn't gotten one EA.</p>

<p>I never got one either for EA, and I was deferred too. Hmm, I think I'll email my rep. and see if I could get an interview. </p>

<p>It could be weird, since I just had a Harvard interview, and he mentioned that he sometimes does Yale interviews.</p>
