Deferred early decision ILR. What now?

Greeting everyone,
I was an Ed applicant that got deferred from ilr. What can I do to show them that it's still my number one choice? Write a letter, email, call? This semester I worked super hard to get my grades up and I jumped 30 spots in rank. I went from 90/690 to 63/690. My gpa also went up from 3.65 to 3.78. This is all while doing academic decathlon til 10 every day. I would appreciate your help. Btw I'm an out of state applicant? (ca)

Your counselor will be sending your mid-year grade report to ILR, so follow up with an e-mail to your admissions representative and let them know that ILR at Cornell has been (as evidenced by your ED application) and still is your number one choice and that you have worked very hard this year as evidenced by the upward trend in the grades shown in your mid-year report. This is assuming that your interests/activities align well with ILR and that your SAT’s, ACT’s, letters of recommendation are a fit for ILR as well. Good luck to you!

You really should’ve took action a lot earlier… I sent anther letter/Rec in January. I mean by now they may have already read your app!
