Deferred For UOP Pre-Pharm: What to Do Now? & Chances?

So my friend applied for pre-pharmacy at University of Pacific. She got deferred, but she still really wants to get into that school. I suggested writing a letter of interest, much like the ones that people write for universities when they get waitlisted. Besides that, is there anything else that she can do?

She’s already knows to stay consistent in everything (ec’s, GPA, etc.).

What are her chances?

Her Profile…

GPA: (UW) 3.8 (W) 4.2

SAT CR+M: 1100

Class Rank: Top 10%

EC’s:
-Key Club
-Journalism (Officer Position)
-Interact Club

Community Service Hours: 100+

Ethnicity: Indian

State: CA

Any and all feedback/insight would be great! Thanks!

Does the letter ask her to submit a interim transcript of the fall semester so they can more further assess their decision in regular decision or does it just say she got deferred?

What’s the full SAT? For pre-pharm, her SAT seems a little on the low side.

She doesn’t have to personally write anything but her GC can express on her behalf that she still has an interest in the school.

@sxyaznryanchster‌ She said they requested her transcript.

Wow, that SAT score seems quite low. What does the common data set say for SAT for UOP?

The CDS would put this student in question at around the 25th percentile.
