Does anyone know how many people are usually accepted after being deferred? Especially since UF took more people than usual this year, will that help me get accepted since I've been deferred?

Depends on what you got deferred for. grades or scores? I got deferred but got my SAT scores up. They accepted me after that. so it really just depends.

Thanks for replying. I really wanna go there and I brought my semester grades up after being deferred for them…so I hope that it works out for me!

Knight,
Good for you. S didn’t get his grades up after being deferred for grades. They actually went down a bit so I’m hoping they look past the meh GPA (it’s above 3.0 UW) to see he is actually smarter than his brother who got in no problem. It’s tough being deferred (and this was the only school my S applied to) from your first and only choice. He will go to Valencia if he’s denied or waitlisted and he’ll just keep applying.

He’ll get in eventually, he will wear them down.

I hope he gets in. I found out today that a friend who was deferred for semester grades, got denied because her grades went down. But, I hope your S gets in, seems like he needs it, along with the rest of us.
