So for everyone who got accepted in this wave, did all of your view decision links disappear yesterday?

@michiganea2021 my link disappeared, accepted from MN. Unless more decisions are coming later today or tomorrow, I wouldn’t look at these acceptances as state by state. It wouldn’t make sense for Michigan to accept kids from some states, then wait 2 weeks to accept kids from other states. They are going to accept applicants who, at the moment, they feel are good fits for the University, no matter the state. Also there have been acceptances from all parts of the country: east coast, west coast, Midwest, and in state which indicates it’s not state by state.

@llw333 I think the fact Michigan is releasing deferral admissions on certain dates like today before April 1, wouldn’t make sense according to your standards. I feel that rolling decisions would be more suitable to the idea of “accepting applicants who, at the moment, are good fits for the University” rather than just picking one day to bulk release acceptances
I’m simply speculating; I haven’t seen much information indicating that someone from EVERY state has gotten an update, so I feel there may be some correlation.

Well they have had waves in previous years on certain fridays. This wierd though because they released on Thursday
@betsye143 I only looked when someone else mentioned theirs was gone, but they thought it must’ve disappeared late afternoon because it was still there yesterday morning, so there’s still hope that links will disappear today and more acceptances will roll out tomorrow!

@phayzon What Michigan is doing now with deferred applicants is considered rolling admissions. Make decisions over the course of a couple weeks, release them, then repeat the next week. How would you explain the fact that only A couple in state kids posted they were accepted today, would that mean the rest were rejected because as you are saying today is Michigan’s ‘day’. I have multiple friends who did not hear back today, still waiting for a decision so when will they hear back? I’m only speculating too, but we have heard results from a lot of states and just think the amount of kids who don’t use this website.
Guys just check again at 3 or 4 today and then midnight and if there is nothing just calm down I know it’s hard but it will all work out eventually
@straightoutta7 I was anticipating decisions to come out Friday, but my friend told me to look on college confidential. I looked and people were saying their “view decision” link had disappeared and so I went to check mine and it was there and I clicked it and It said “Congratulations…” I was shocked. I didn’t think it would’ve been updated. This was around 11:00 today
Applied in December Regular Decision. Accepted today on Wolverine Access. 31 ACT 4.0 unweighted GPA.
