Deferred Yalie - Essay

I was deferred from Yale, and, as I set to work on the rest of my applications, I'm beginning to wonder if I should change/edit my common app essay. It's fairly intricate and I'm worried that its significance doesn't come through after a single read.

Anyone want to take a look?

Wait… I thought that you can’t edit your commonapp anymore after you submitted it?

You can.

Rocker, I’ll critique if you don’t mind a 2014er.

i’ll read it

rocker, I’ll take a look.
you’ve probably seen me on the Yale deferred thread :p

I can help you take a look, I was accepted to Yale.

Rocker, you probably know anyway :stuck_out_tongue: but please be careful who you give your essays out to as some people might still be applying to other universities even if they’ve been deferred/accepted. As this is the net, it’s best to be safe. Try parents, trusted adults on CC or current students, or find someone trusted in real life (like a teacher, friend, parent). Best of luck.

Sure…just pm me. though i was deferred from yale :(

No, you can’t. Only the supplement, not the common app.

You can make a new version of the common app and edit whatever you want =]

I’ll take a look rocket, but I’m applying to both Princeton and Yale this year.
