Those are my stats that I used to apply to Rutgers. I didn’t get any scholarship offers and I got waitlisted for pharm. Is there any chance that I’m going to be offered a scholarship later to the arts and sciences school or business school? I’m a little shocked that I didn’t get one since my SAT score is definitely above average for both of those schools.

Also, what’s the latest date they would notify me if I got off the waitlist for pharm?

One more question, just in general, I wrote in my common app for certain colleges that I wasn’t going to apply for financial aid, but I might submit a FAFSA now. Would I still be able to call and say that I’m applying for financial aid even though I submitted them a month (or three months for two of them) ago?

I am surprised they did not offer you something given your high stats. I believe that all of the scholarships had been released by now. If your looking for a reason why you didn’t get one think about the overall message and tone of your essay given that it is the only way they can get to know you as a person. Rutgers claims to take a holistic approach to these matters so it can be a reason. Then again this is all an assumption. I also believe that the latest you’ll hear back about waitlist is beginning of May when the enrollment closes for fall 2016. I not so sure about the last question as i did not use the common app, but a call or email would not hurt.

Not surprised you weren’t offered anything. DS got nothing with 3.9/4.0 unweighted, 32 ACT, 800 Math II and Physics SAT IIs. I think it is getting more competitive each year at Rutgers.

I called Newark today to inquire about merit scholarship since I received my New Brunswick one right after my admission. Newark said they are releasing scholarships at end of February for anyone who applied regular decision.
