I have tried to do as much research as possible but can’t find much information. Does anyone know how easy a scholarship is to obtain fro an oos student? I see on their website the amount of each scholarship but are ther many given or is financial/merit aid very stingy at Rutgers? Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!
P.S. Sorry if I just can’t find the right information. Rutgers is not a school I know much about!
Scholarships are equally hard to get for in-state and out-of-state students. It really depends on the applicant pool. A lot of my friends with 4.0 GPA, 2000-2100 SAT or 33 ACT, didn’t get money. The only people who got money were the minorities who stood out and the people who got that 2250 SAT or 35 ACT for that presidential scholarship.
Does Rutgers super score or uses scores from a single test for Presidential scholarships?
^^Bump. Would also like to know if Rutgers superscores for the scholarships.
Also @RUAsian 4.0 as in unweighted or weighted?
They would, and for them it was both 4.0 unweighted. But realize that if you already got your acceptance, and you diid not get a scholarship, then you did not get a scholarship. The scholarship shows on your admission page
Rutgers scholarships do not come out with admissions. It comes later. And all Honors College students will receive a scholarship. I think I read that the decisions will come out in Jan or Feb
@RUasian Where did you learn that? My guidance counselor said the scholarship and Honors College information would be released in January, and I didn’t see any scholarship information on my admissions page. Thanks!
@likefireworks From when my friends got admitted last year, they got all the information together. They got admitted to the honors college, and got the presidential scholarship. Maybe they will come out later this year, since they are running late anyway.
@RUasian yea i heard scholarship info and admissions info come out at different times
everything is different this year
