How do I do it?

Go to "Account Settings" after logging in.

Click on "Cancel Account" right below the title.

Follow the instrutions given by Myspace and your account will be cancelled. (You'll need the e-mail address you registered with)

and then you'll have to start it all over again tomorrow when you are having that craving......hehehe

^^^^^

so true.

it never works... just keep it and spare yourself the trouble of making a whole new one.

Yeah I just said that I have "no more internet" and I made that my name. Bye bye myspace. How sad. =[

I have lot of experience with deleting myspaces.

I wish I kept my old one......... i first got it November 2003.

It isn't working right now for some odd reason, so if you really want to discontinue, I suggest that you take out your pictures, delete your blogs, and erase all of your information. That's the closest you can come to "deleting," I suppose.

1234.

How do you make it private?

If you're willing to do this, set your age to something under 16.

WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING RIDICULOUS LIKE DELETING YOUR MYSPACE ACCOUNT?!?!

Are you from the Boston area and you're worried about the thing on Fox 25 with information for parents on how to track their child's MySpace?

... Why would you do something ridiculous like create a MySpace account? (Not that I think it's ridiculous, but some people do.)

And that information on tracking MySpaces has been distributed nationwide, I think. At least people in my area know about it already.

Ya I know, there's plenty of ways to track people on MySpace, but Fox 25 News is HUGE and will let even technologically incompetent parents know how to do it. I'm not really that worried but people post some pretty dumb stuff on their MySpace (e.g. Smoke/Drink: Yes/Yes)

My dad googled my name and kchen's myspace came up haha. He didn't see it though. Whew.

^ Haha. Is it a bad thing if I leave it on there though?

Oh no. I like it. ;)

Weird. I google your name and my myspace doesn't appear at all.

Edit: Whoa. It just appeared right now. It wasn't there five minutes ago (and yesterday).

hahaha. myspace has taken over the world.

I bet MySpace will die in three to five years.

It'll be like another Xanga era.

nah

xanga is still going on strong, actually.

its just the demographics tend to shift. from xanga to myspace, and now what else?

When I said "die," I meant more like settle down (not completely killed off).

Xanga is pretty stable, I suppose. I still use mine, at least.
