Just to clarify, Penn State is my top choice school to attend.

I applied Engineering to University Park.
OOS
My SAT was 1100/1600 and 1600/2400.
My GPA was 93/100 weighted.
Extracurricular was very impressive
I even sent in 3 very excellent letters of recommendation.

I put summer session on my application when applying.

I was denied from University Park but was given the option to attend a branch campus.

So I also called in today to be reviewed for DUS (undecided studies) and they said they will reevaluate my application and let me know if I can attend University Park for undecided.

My questions are this.
1. Is Undecided studies for engineering worth it? What if you cant maintain the certain Gpa to transfer over to engineering? How many semesters must you take before going to engineering?

Since I was given the option to attend a branch campus, does this mean Im going to accepted in a branch campus 100% sure? Or do they have to re evaluate my application?

Is it even worth going to a branch campus for 2 years and then transferring over to university park? Does the branch campus have "lower standards"?

Which branch campus is the best for engineering with housing?

thanks so much for your time to answer my troubled times

thank you
