I recently got admitted to DePaul University and CU boulder and im stuck between this two!! they are two college experiences completely different so its very hard to pick! Im majoring in psychology and its ranked better in CU but I think the environment that surrounds you its also important and Chicago is AMAZING! What should I do?
With psych, you’ll have to continue to post grad. Chicago is a fantastic place to network and there are SO many graduate programs here (adler, DePaul, IIT, UIC, UChicago, NU) which have great psych programs. Also factor in who gave you more scholarship money, don’t dig yourself into debt for just an undergrad degree.
I love 10 minutes outside of Boulder. It’s a fantastic town and the school is amazing. It depends on the experience that you want to have. Boulder is a smaller town near the mountains and is very chill, while Chicago is…Chicago! Funny, my daughter is going to be attending the theater school at DePaul in Chicago this fall.
