DePaul vs. ISU

I've gone to vist both of the campuses and LOVED them! They both have the feel I'm looking for and the programs that are essential for me (nursing/nurse practitioner). But I'm still in need of help!

Which is better? ISU has a great campus and prgram, however it doesn't have the connections that DePaul does. Plus, being in the city is great, especially with all the possibilies of hospitals to work at. But DePaul doesn't have the actual nursing school, just a department of it.

Cost is definatly an issue, too. ISU is way more affordable. I would have to get tons of scholarships to even consider DePaul.

Also, ISU has more of a 'college campus' feel. DePaul is beatiful, but it's not as home-y as ISU.

If anyone can please help me narrow my search down, I would greatly appreciate it!

I would not pay a lot more for DePaul. If you love them both, cost is a great way to decide.

ISU as in Indiana State University? The only GOOD thing ISU is known for is athletic training. Definitely DePaul.

ISU as in Illinois State University.

Oh, then I’m not sure. Sorry! I do know that DePaul is well-regarded in the Midwest. Also the largest catholic school in the country. But you probably already knew that. The Chicago resources would be phenomenal. Perhaps you should see how DePaul’s nursing department ranks in comparison to ISU’s nursing school: is one significantly higher than the other? Best of luck!
