did anyone send in a picture with their ED app? just curious.

yes or no ??

I didn't. The whole concept of it is just weird to me.

nope i didn't

I did! I sent in two that I thought showed off my fun-loving and relaxed personality. I figured it couldn't hurt, because I'm not ugly, and thats the only time its supposed to hurt.

does dartmotuh ask for an (optional) picture?

i really wanted to... but i didn't because i was afraid they would think i'm really full of myself

if i didnt send anything in at all by mail, can i send in a picture like just in an envelope?

do they have a space for a pic?

I didn't. Imagine the admissions officer, sitting in her cozy office in Hanover, sipping her cup of coffee while looking over college admission forms. She opens up the next folder, and poof! There's this goofy looking asian kid staring back up at her. She'd probably take one look, burst out into tears of laughter, and not take my application seriously.

Nuh uh. No chance. It'll hurt me- I'm too dopey lookin'. :)

Dartmouth doesn't ask for a picture. I didn't attach it because I'm full of myself, I attached it because I figured it couldn't hurt and it was perhaps a reminder that even with a typo or two, I am still a really cool person.

if im a sexy beast, should i send one?

LOL, especially if your adcom was female!!!

I'm THFDTH...

Too

I'm 4'11", buck teeth, hairy back, no nose.

Dang it! Why didn't I send in a picture?! It could've helped me in the process!

I'm a BAMF and I think it helped (we'll find out tomorrow).

(Please see Dane Cook if you do not understand BAMF.)

The last thing you want to do is send a picture of yourself, I guess this piece of advice this is to all of you RD applicants.

why is it the last thing we want to do?

I sent one with my RD application. shrugs

Yeah, why's it bad? It puts a face to all the words and numbers on the app...if your application is impressive, putting in a little something to remind them of you and making you stand out from all the other people with a thousand extra curriculars and straight A's can't be a /bad/ thing...

son used CA online, so, negative to OP's q. But, since he was interviewed by a local alum.....
