Did everyone receive an email about SSAR corrections?

I got an email about them having reviewed all the SSARs and that they saw a lot of errors with them. They even set a deadline on November 15th to make corrections. I looked at the common errors they listed and looked over mine, but I can't see anything wrong with it. Did they send this to everybody?

I got the same email, not sure what it means. Maybe they just want students to look it over to make sure there are no errors.

I received the same email. It said: “Three of the most common errors we would like to see corrected are: 1) entering non-academic core classes, 2) not indicating your entire senior schedule, and 3) only listing the repeated class and not showing the initial attempt and grade earned.” I reviewed my SSAR and everything seemed to be okay, so I emailed them back asking what they want to be changed…still no word back but I will let you know.

I read it several times…and I checked my SSAR…I think many applicants didn’t follow the instructions…only core classes,…not indicating entire senior schedule…etc…there must have been so many that they sent a mass email.

I’m going to guess that since this is a new requirement of applicants, FSU is experiencing a large number of headaches from applicants putting incorrect information down to make themselves look better. The SSAR will be the big growing pain for FSU I think over the next couple years because there are so many different levels of classes that aren’t necessarily covered by FSU’s system (as seen by a lot of people here, “Accelerated” classes aren’t equal to Honors, even if they’re weighted the same at your school).

If your SSAR looks fine, and you’ve followed their instructions, I wouldn’t worry. Likely this was a mass email from FSU just because they were noticing a lot of people struggling to put info in correctly and wanted to make sure everything got fixed.
