Will I get my first choice major accounting?

You haven't gotten in until you get a letter in the mail

or you can login and reserve an Explore USC session xD

beeish how do you do that?

At this site: Login

^Does it hurt if you login but haven't been admitted yet?

Haha, I try and get some message saying it's invalid...I hope that's not a subtle way of saying that I've been rejected...

I can't log in either.

Me too- it says invalid...

Strange, pineapple and others did you get status update too?

Apparently it says invalid for me too. Maybe it just takes time?

I cannot login either, but they probably don't validate it or whatever until they actually send out your letter. Or you haven't actually been admitted. Eeeep. I don't know what to think.

No, I did not have a status update though... mine is still at 2.17.2009.

Yeah I got the invalid thing up until two days after my letter was post marked. My letter was dated the 9th, I could access it on the 11th (when I got the status update with the oasis link) and then my letter arrived in Australia on the 12th and I guess it was delieverd on the 13th. I wasn't actually in the country so I'm not sure, and for some reason it was sent priority mail and not DHL but thats not the point here.

So, I checked the link posted above (to register for admitted student events) and was happy to see that I was able to access it. I'm pretty sure I'm in (hoorah!), considering that on one of the event pages it said:

"Welcome -----,

Congratulations on your admission to USC! We are delighted that you have an interest in visiting campus. Each Explore USC date has an attendance limit and reservations are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. You will not be able to select a session within 3 business days of its start date. To view a tentative schedule, please click here. The following sessions are still available..."

So, yeah. Thanks so much to who figured that out! I was expecting a letter today, based on my status and the fact that people in CA found out yesterday, but it didn't come. I applied to Annenberg, so I still have no idea whether I was accepted there or not. I'll be awaiting a letter on Monday?

For those curious, my status update had the OASIS/materials link, which was posted on 3/20. The update I had before that was on 3/18, without the OASIS link but with the info about how they would be "happy" to tell me of my decision on the phone if it was not received before April 1st?

I think it's definitely worth trying to log in to the link above to see if it lets you in. This should be a new thread though, seriously..

Is anyone else who hasn't received a letter yet able to login?

no.. it says it can't find a match...

mine says:
We were unable to find a record matching the applicant ID and last name you supplied. If you believe you may have entered incorrectly, please try again.

Damn I couldn't log in. :(

anyone who has been accepted unable to login? please say yes =(

If you cannot log in, it does NOT mean that you've been rejected. All it means is that you haven't been accepted YET. You won't be able to access the login until a day or two after you receive the admission packet in the mail.
