Did I just bind myself without knowing?

The follow is for Texas A&M University

Hey guys, so this is my situation.

I received my offer of admission in late September, and accepted the offer of admission after calling in to confirm that it was not binding.

However, I noticed that there were only a couple seats left on the only date I will be free for the New Student Conference (I have planned out other school visits & internships) so without thinking or calling I went ahead and registered for it.

Does this mean that I HAVE to attend A&M? I'm still waiting for other school decisions on April 1st. If I decide to go to another school, will it be possible to reject the decision for A&M?

Thanks for your help guys!

No, you are not committed. Many students will register for activities, sign up for housing, and get for one school - and then get off the waiting list of another in July which they ultimately attend. Schools plan for ‘melt.’ You’ll just lose your deposit.
